Chinese New Year

Gold Ingots & Gold Bars - These are honey - milk madeleines in the shape of 'Gold' Ingots and 'Gold' Bars.  With Chinese New Year just around the corner,  I wanted a cake with no frills but yet reflect the essence and spirit of the Lunar New Year festivities.

Children would love these madeleines and of course, the novelty of eating a 'Gold Ingot'.
